⇒ From the selection box next to Motor type:, select the appropriate motor for your
application.
You can then select the following
● Select a standard motor from the list
For individual motor types, there is a list of standard motors, which simplifies entering
motor data.
● Enter the motor data
The required motor data are manually entered, see the next section.
⇒ Under Parallel connection motor, enter the number of motors connected in parallel when
required. Motors connected in parallel must be of the same type and size.

Selecting the motor type
The selection of the motor type is used to pre-assign specific motor parameters and to
optimize the operating characteristics and behavior. Details are described in the List Manual
in the p0300 parameter.
