SPLINTER GUARD ADJUSTMENT 

 

(par_7.1.3_2010) 

You can trim the splinter guard a few times (K fig. 7.1-3), without having to move the entire support rule.  
Loosen the screw (V fig. 7.1-3), slide the sprinter guard (K fig. 7.1-3) towards the blade, tighten the screw and 
perform the trim again.  
If you need to replace it see Section 20.
