2–6 • Control Panel Introduction

Synergy 100 MD Operator’s Manual (v7.2 MD-S100)

Switcher Timeout

If no control panel buttons are touched and no fader arms are moved for a period of 10 minutes, the
switcher goes into a “sleep” mode and all lights are automatically turned off. This function is
specifically designed to extend the life of the displays and the button LEDs.

If this timeout occurs, press any button or move the fader or joystick to “wake” the switcher and turn
on all lights.

The factory default timeout interval is 10 minutes. For instructions on programming an alternate
timeout interval, refer to the

Synergy 100 MD Engineering Manual

.

Note

The switcher does

not

act on a button push when it is coming out of

“sleep” mode.
