570 Service Manual

Lift bearing carrier into place and install the bolt
attaching the bearing carrier to the upper A-arm.
Torque fastener to specification.

TORQUE

Upper Rear Bearing Carrier Bolt:

40 ft-lb (54 Nm)

Apply grease to drive shaft axle splines.

Install rear wheel hub assembly, cone washers, and
hand tighten the castle nut. Install washers with
domed side out.

Install NEW brake caliper mounting bolts and torque
to specification.

TORQUE

Rear Caliper Mounting Bolts:

44 ft-lbs (60 Nm)

CAUTION

New bolts have a pre-applied locking agent which is

destroyed upon removal. Always use new brake caliper

mounting bolts upon assembly.

Torque wheel hub nut to specification and install a
NEW cotter pin. Tighten nut slightly if necessary to
align cotter pin holes.

TORQUE

Rear Wheel Hub Castle Nut:

110 ft-lbs (149 Nm)
