Playing and copying photos (PhotoViewer)

digital came r a to DVD, we r ecommend
ve r ifying that they have been r eco r ded
pr o p e r ly befo r e deleting anything f r om
the came r a.
1 Load a blank (or unrecorded Video
mode) DVD-R or DVD-RW disc.
2 Display the Home Menu.
3 Select ‘PhotoViewer’ > ‘Copy
Files from a Digital Camera’.
4 Select ‘Yes’ to confirm or ‘No’
to cancel.
• Note that du r ing co p ying, any time r
pr og r ammes set to sta r t will not begin,
and no othe r o p e r ations a r e p ossible.
Copying selected files to a
DVD-R/-RW
This featu r e allows you just to co p y some of
the files sto r ed on HDD to a DVD.
A slideshow of the files is also r eco r ded on
the disc as a Video mode title, making it
p ossible to view the p hotos on othe r DVD
p laye r s/ r eco r de r s that may not be
com p atible with JPEG file p layback. Note
howeve r that you may need to finalize the
disc befo r e it will p lay on anothe r DVD p laye r
(co p ying selected files doesn’t automatically
finalize the disc).
Important
• A maximum of 99 slideshow titles can be
r eco r ded.
• One slideshow title can contain u p to
99 files. If the r e a r e mo r e files than this in
the slideshow, multi p le slideshows a r e
c r eated on the disc.
• If you e r ase a slideshow title f r om a DVD
the slideshow will become un p layable
but the f r ee s p ace will not inc r ease.

mode) DVD-R or DVD-RW disc.
2 Display the Home Menu.
3 Select ‘PhotoViewer’ > ‘View/
Edit Photos on the HDD’.
4 Select the file(s) or folder(s) you
want to copy.
• Co p ying a folde r will co p y all the files
contained in it.
• To co p y multi p le folde r s, use the Multi-
Mode; see Selecting multiple files or
folders on p age 98.
5 Select ‘Copy to DVD’ from the
command menu panel.
6 Select ‘Yes’ to confirm or ‘No’
to cancel.
• Folde r names on the disc will be
number PIONR
. File names will be
PHOT
number.
• Note that du r ing co p ying, any time r
pr og r ammes set to sta r t will not begin,
and no othe r o p e r ation is p ossible.
• While ‘Cancel’ is dis p layed, you can
pr ess ENTER to cancel.
Editing files on the HDD
The r e a r e a numbe r of commands you can
use to edit and o r ganize you r p ictu r es sto r ed
on the HDD.
Creating a new folder
1 From the folder list, display the
command menu panel.
2 Select ‘New Folder’.
The folde r a pp ea r s at the bottom of the folde r
list with the name F_ number .
