Note that the r eco r ding is always made to
the HDD. If you want to r eco r d to a DVD disc,
you’ll need to switch on the p owe r and use
the full VCR Plus+ pr og r amme sc r een.

1 Press ‘VCR Plus+’.
The f r ont p anel dis p lay shows the cu rr ent
r eco r ding mode and pr om p ts you to ente r
the PlusCode pr og r amming numbe r .
2 Use the number buttons to enter the
PlusCode number.
• To clea r the last digit ente r ed, pr ess
CLEAR .
3 Press ENTER.
The dis p lay shows the time r settings:

• If
CODE ERROR
a pp ea r s in the dis p lay,
check that the numbe r is co rr ect and
that the guide channel is set (see
VCR
Plus+ CH Setting
on p age 114), then set
the time r r eco r ding again.
• If CAN’T SET a pp ea r s in the dis p lay, it
means that although you ente r ed a valid
PlusCode numbe r , the pr og r amme has
al r eady finished.
Setting a manual timer recording
The time r r eco r ding sc r een you can see all
the time r pr og r ammes al r eady set, clea r
pr og r ammes and set u p new ones.
1 Press HOME MENU, select Timer
Recording, then Timer Recording.
This sc r een shows all the time r pr og r ammes
cu rr ently set.
• Each r ow is fo r one time r r eco r ding
pr og r amme, with the date and time
info r mation, channel, r eco r ding mode,
DVD o r HDD and r eco r ding status.
• The amount of f r ee s p ace available on
the HDD and the cu rr ently loaded
r eco r dable DVD is shown towa r ds the
bottom of the sc r een.
• In the u pp e r - r ight co r ne r , the numbe r of
time r pr og r ammes al r eady set is shown
next to
Tmr Pgms
.
• If the r e a r e mo r e than five time r
pr og r ammes al r eady set, pr ess
NEXT

to switch p age (go back using
the PREV

button).
• You can also delete a time r pr og r amme
befo r e it’s sta r ted (befo r e the r eco r de r
ente r s time r r eco r ding standby) by
highlighting it and pr essing
CLEAR
