Dual Mono Audio
1 Select the title containing the
audio you want to change.
2 Select ‘Dual Mono Audio’ from
the command menu panel.
3 Select a dual mono audio
option.

This featu r e offe r s a sim p le way to make a
backu p co p y of finalized DVD-R/-RW (Video
mode) discs o r DVD+R/+RW discs. The
data is co p ied fi r st to the ha r d disk d r ive

then on to anothe r r eco r dable DVD disc.
1 Display the Home Menu.
2 Select ‘Copy’ > ‘Disc backup’.
3 Select a backup option.
The r e a r e th r ee backu p o p tions:
• Start new disc back-up – Sta r t making
a backu p of a disc.
• Resume writing data – Reco r d the
backu p data al r eady on the HDD to a
r eco r dable DVD.

Erase back-up data
– E r ase the backu p
data on the HDD.
4 Load the disc you want to make a
backup of.
You can only make backu p co p ies of
finalized Video mode DVD-R/-RW discs,
finalized DVD+R o
r DVD+RW discs
(excluding DVD-R DL/DVD+R DL discs).
5 Select ‘Start’.

• You can cancel the backu p pr ocess by
pr essing

than one second.
6 When the data has been copied, take
out the disc and load a blank* recordable
DVD.
* If you’re using a DVD-RW or DVD+RW, the
disc doesn’t have to be blank, although the
previous contents of the disc will be erased in
the backup process.

• If you backu p a DVD-R disc to DVD-RW,
you cannot undo the finalization late r .
