About This Manual

This manual covers the installation of the Cypher SPM.

1.1 Intended audience

This manual is specifically aimed at trained personnel who install, service, or repair Cypher SPM
from Oxford Instruments. That is, only personnel who have attended appropriate Oxford Instru-
ments training courses are permitted to install, service, and repair these systems.

Note:

Customers must not install, service, or repair the equipment described in this manual.

Doing so may invalidate warranties.
