Cypher SPM

User Guide

25. Slide scanner into chassis.

l

Use firm pressure until you feel a hard stop. Before
you feel a hard stop you will feel a spring-like res-
istance.
You are making thermal contact between the scan-
ner and the chassis. This is necessary for best per-
formance.

l

Maintain pressure on scanner and press the lever at
the right downward to lock the scanner into place.

26. Check the correction collar.

l

Check that the green correction collar on the object-
ive is set properly.

l

For the Gas cantilever holder, set the correction col-
lar to 1.5.

27. Close the enclosure door and latch it.
