INITIAL SETTIING OF INKS
When using the plotter for the first time or changing ink set to another, it is necessary to set ink type.
Use the following procedure to install the ink cartridges.
STEP
1. Turn the power on.
After the initial operation, the device displays the type of ink
set in each ink station.
2. Insert the ink cartridges into the ink stations.
Align two projecting portions of the ink cartridge with rails on
the ink stations. Once the ink cartridge is inserted to reach
the normal position, the buzzer will sound.
3. By pushing the JOG keys [ ] and [ ], specify
the type of ink set in the left ink station (R-
row).
[Acid] Acid dye ink
[Disp] Disperse dye ink
[Reac] Reactive dye ink
4. Move the cursor by pushing the JOG keys
[ ] and [ ].
5. By pushing the JOG keys [ ] and [ ], specify
the type of ink set in the right ink station (F-
row).
6. Push the [ENTER] key .
The print head is automatically filled with ink.
7. Once the ink-filling procedure completes, the
plotter enters the LOCAL mode.
