System Connections
Wiring from the Nova73
The Nova73 HD (shown below) and Nova73 Compact core provide identical connections:

Front Connections:

PSU 1 & PSU 2 - see Nova73 power . Only one PSU is essential for operation; the second provides
redundancy.

Router Module(s) MKII:
o
ETHERNET A – connect to the control surface.
o
ETHERNET B – connect to the Lawo system network.
If two Router Modules are fitted, then run Ethernet A and Ethernet B connections from both the main and
redundant Router Modules.

MADI, RAVENNA or DANTE - connect to external I/O devices including DALLIS (via MADI or RAVENNA);
Compact I/O (via RAVENNA); and Virtual Devices (via RAVENNA). See Nova73 Module Options and
Defining the I/O Ports . One MADI or RAVENNA port must be reserved for the local I/O .
Rear Connections:

SYNCHRONISATION Ports - see External Sync . If a sync reference is not connected, or invalid, then the
system automatically switches to internal sync.

GPI 1 & 2, Global ALARM - see Nova73 Alarm & Control Contacts .
·
AES Breakout Connectors - see Nova73 rear connector panels .
