Chapter 3: AdminHD

Operating Principles

Online/Offline Status

AdminHD starts up in offline mode; the online/offline status is shown in the status bar at the bottom of the
display:

Offline

When running offline, you can:

Download

configuration data (from the online system to your computer).

Edit

the configuration data, locally on your computer in AdminHD.

Export

and

upload

cold start configuration files (from your computer to the mc²56 MKII control system).

Note that to download and upload data, you will need a valid

network connection

between your AdminHD

computer and the mc²56 MKII control system.

Online

You should switch to

online

mode if you wish to:

Monitor

the system status.

Update

the online configuration (in memory).
