Chapter 5: mcx System Update

Updating the System

Updating Nova73 IO Cards

From Version 5.6.0 onwards, all Nova73 IO cards will update to the corresponding firmware versions
automatically. Depending on the system configuration, this can take a while (10-15 minutes), and so now might
be good time to have a coffee!

·

During the update, the card LEDs will flash quickly. As soon as they return to their normal blink
frequency, the update is finished.

·

The automatic update does not apply to RAVENNA-aware IO cards installed before

Version 5.4. See
