0–1c: Slot information
This section shows information for the selected Slot. The
number, Slot name, and Program, Combination, or Song
name are shown in large text. The comment is shown in the
area below. Use the scroll bar on the right to view longer
comments, or touch the comment area and drag down to
reveal the Comment Pad, as described below.
Comment Pad
The Comment Pad devotes the entire screen to the comment
text—convenient for viewing lyrics or longer notes,
especially with larger font sizes.
To show the Comment Pad, touch the comment area and
drag down. (When you touch the comment area, a downward
arrow appears on the screen to hint at this functionality.)
To close the Comment Pad, press the EXIT button or touch
the large “X” in the upper right corner of the window.
To adjust the brightness of the text, use the three icons in the
upper left corner of the window.
To adjust the size of the font, use the S/M/L/XL, Font Size
buttons at the bottom of the Window. This mirrors the Slot’s
Font parameter.
To edit the comment, press the Edit Comment button at the
bottom of the window. For more information, see
“Comment” on page 566.
0–1d: Slot Select
Slot Select [000…127]
The 128 Slots are shown either 4, 8, or 16 at a time,
depending on the selection of the 16/8/4 Slots button (0–1b).
To select a slot, simply touch it. (You can also use other
methods, as described below.) To move to another group of
Slots, use the Previous and Next buttons at the bottom of the
display.
Selecting Slots
Selecting within the current group of Slots
To select one of the Slots shown on the display:
1. Press the desired button.
The button becomes hilighted, and the comments and large
slot number/name at the top of the screen are updated
accordingly.
Selecting outside the current group of Slots
To select a Slot which is not shown on the display:
1. Use the next and previous arrow-buttons at the
bottom of the screen to browse through the groups of
Slots.
The labels for next/previous will vary depending on the
current group of Slots, and on the number of Slots being
shown. For instance, if 16 Slots are being shown and the
current group is 0-15, the buttons will show 112-127 and 16-
31, respectively.
As you browse, the current selection does not change until
you actually press one of the Slot buttons.
2. When the desired group of Slots is displayed, press the
button for the desired slot.
The button becomes hilighted, and the comments and large
slot number/name at the top of the screen are updated
accordingly.
Selecting using data entry controls
In addition to using the touch-screen buttons, you can select
Set List and Slots using the standard data entry controls,
including the VALUE dial, and +/
− buttons.
