To edit an action for an object:
open the application settings window and select
File Anti-Virus
under
Pro-
tection
. All potential actions are displayed in the appropriate sections (see
Figure 24).

Prompt for action
File Anti-Virus issues a warning message contain-
ing information about what malicious program has
infected or potentially infected the file, and gives
you a choice of actions. The choice can vary de-
pending on the status of the object.
Block access
File Anti-Virus blocks access to the object. Infor-
mation about this is recorded in the report
(see 15.3 on pg. 163). Later you can attempt to
disinfect this object.

Disinfect
File Anti-Virus will block access to the object and
will attempt to disinfect it. If it is successfully disin-
fected, it is restored for regular use. If disinfection
fails, the file will be assigned the status of
poten-
tially infected
, and it will be moved to Quarantine
(see 15.1 on pg. 158). Information about this is
recorded in the report. Later you can attempt to
disinfect this object.

will attempt to disinfect it. If it is successfully disin-
fected, it is restored for regular use. If the object
cannot be disinfected, it is deleted. A copy of the
