Note:

When the sample is perpendicular the light is collected at an angle

of 22.5°. This orientation minimizes stray and reflected light off the sur-
face of the sample.

For samples such as thin films, microscope slides,
fibers, or other materials:

Place the material on the block on the side
opposite that of the well.

Insert the block between the bracket and spring
clip.

The sample should be perpendicular to the excitation light and fluorescence col-
lected.
