Each FluoroMax

-3 system consists of:

An excitation source

•

An excitation monochromator

•

A sampling module with reference detector

An emission monochromator

An emission detector.

A FluoroMax

-P system adds:

•

A motorized mirror to change between light sources

•

A pulsed xenon lamp

•

A phosphorimeter-control module

Each system is controlled by an IBM-PC-compatible computer, and may include a
printer for hard-copy documentation.
