ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Loosely install the rear shock absorber lower
mounting bolts.

Support the scooter and retract the center stand.

Hold the engine hanger bolt and tighten the nut to
the specified torque.

Hold the engine hanger bracket bolt and tighten the
nuts to the specified torque.

Tighten the tension rod nut to the specified torque.

Tighten the rear shock absorber lower mounting
bolts to the specified torque.

Support the scooter on its center stand.

Install the following:

– Bolt, spark plug wire clamp
– Spark plug cap

Connect the water hose to the thermostat cover and
tighten the hose band screw securely.

Install the bolt and water hose clamp.

LOWER MOUNTING BOLTS

TORQUE: 59 N·m (6.0 kgf·m, 44 lbf·ft)

TORQUE: 20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 15 lbf·ft)

BRACKET BOLTS/NUTS

HANGER BOLT/NUT

TENSION ROD NUT

TORQUE: 39 N·m (4.0 kgf·m, 29 lbf·ft)

LOWER MOUNTING BOLTS

BOLT

HOSE BAND

BOLT/CLAMP

SPARK PLUG CAP

CLAMP
