If you check this
test, the ignition
switch OFF, then
turn the ignition
switch ON and
engine stop switch

Place the bank angle sensor is horizontal (normal
position) as shown, and ignition switch ON and
engine stop switch " ".
The bank angle sensor is normal if the engine stop
relay clicks and power supply is closed.
Incline the bank angle sensor approximately 49
±

°
to the left or right with keep the ignition switch ON
and engine stop switch " ".
The bank angle sensor is normal if the engine stop
relay clicks and power supply is open.
INPUT VOLTAGE/GROUND LINE
INSPECTION
• Check the bank angle sensor system inspection
(page 6-92) before checking the input voltage/
ground line.
1. Input Voltage Line Inspection
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the bank angle sensor 3P (Black) con-
nector (page 6-94).
Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop
switch " ".
Measure the voltage at the bank angle sensor 3P
(Black) connector of wire side and ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES – GO TO STEP 2.
NO – • Open circuit in Black wire
• Blown fuse (MAIN B or ECU, IGN
fuse)
2. Engine Stop Relay Coil Line Inspection
Measure the voltage at the bank angle sensor 3P
(Black) connector of wire side and ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES – GO TO STEP 3.
NO – • Open circuit in Black/orange wire
• Faulty engine stop relay
• Faulty engine stop switch
