FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING

Remove the oil lock piece from the bottom case.

Do not remove the

fork pipe bushing

unless it is

necessary to

replace it with a

new one.

Remove the back up ring and guide bushing from
the bottom case.

INSPECTION

FORK SPRING

Check the fork spring for fatigue or damage.

Measure the fork spring free length.

FORK PIPE/BOTTOM CASE

Check the fork pipe and bottom case for score
marks, and excessive or abnormal wear.

OIL LOCK PIECE

GUIDE BUSHING

BACK UP RING

SERVICE LIMIT: 315.5 mm (12.4 in)
