Install the screws and tighten the forward screw
first, then tighten the rear screw.
Set the left master cylinder by aligning the end of
the master cylinder with the punch mark on the han-
dlebar.
Set the holder with the "UP" mark facing up and
tighten the upper bolt first, then tighten the lower
bolt to the specified torque.
Connect the inhibitor switch and rear brake light
switch connectors.
Bind the left handlebar switch wire with the wire
band.
Install the left rearview mirror and tighten the lock
nut to the specified torque.
HANDLEBAR POST
REMOVAL
Remove the following:
– Handlebar (page 15-6)
– Handlebar post cover (page 3-20)
Remove the socket bolts, washers and front handle
cover.
Remove the rear handle cover.

TORQUE: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft)
