Operate the Indoor Unit in “Fan” mode for at least 2 hours, in order to remove residual humidity
inside it.
Disconnect the system by switching over main switch to “OFF”.
Remove batteries from infrared Remote Controller, in order to avoid that eventual acid leakage
might damage the contacts inside the battery case.
Clean the air inlet panel, the air filter and the air outlet grille as it has been previously indicated.
Take care to prevent dust and/or foreign metters from entering the Indoor Unit, by protecting it
properly by a nylon covering.
Please check also visually the general state of wiring and refrigerant connections.
Remove the eventual protective covering on air inlet panel and air outlet grille.
Check if air filter is installed on Indoor Unit: air filter must be well clean and not damaged.
Check if frontal panel is properly installed, and that air does not pass through the panel, the
false ceiling and the eventual inlet plenum.
Replace batteries in infrared Remote Controller, and check if contacts are not damaged
(eventual oxidation, etc.) inside the battery case.
Check if in front of infrared receiver’s window there is no object which may interfere with the
reception of signals sent by remote controller to Indoor Unit.
Check there is no object or foreign matter which may obstruct the air inlet and/or air outlet on
Indoor Unit.
Connect the system to power supply by switching over main switch to “ON”, at least 6 hours
before starting the system itself.
