Protection for compressor overcurrent

Measure the resistance on compressor’s terminals. Normally, the
detected values must be the following:

Between U(R) and V(S): 1

Ω

Between U(R) and W(C): 1

Ω

Between V(S) and W(C): 1

Ω

Start only one Indoor Unit by Remote Controller.
After 3-minutes’ delay, does compressor start?

Does anomaly persist (display of Error Code) even if compressor has
been running for a certain time?

Check refrigerant amount in the refrigerant circuit, by measuring
pressure values.

YES

Intervention of protection for compressor’s overcurrent.

YES

Protection Code on Indoor Unit

Outline of Protection function

• Troubleshooting for Protection Codes shown on Display of Multi Liberty of HKEU X Indoor Units

If refrigerant charge is correct and pressure values are normal,
replace Outdoor Unit’s main PCB.

Compressor faulty. Replace it.
