Check the connections on P4(-), P2(+) connectors of Outdoor Unit’s main PCB:
are they OK?
Is Outdoor Unit’s power supply voltage 220-240V?
Are wirings to compressor well connected?
Are wirings broken?
Disconnect wirings from compressor, then try
to restart the system. Is Code “P4” displayed
again?
Replace Outdoor Unit’s main PCB.
Correct connections on
connectors and make power
supply voltage correspond to the
system’s operation specifications.
Inspect compressor.
- Start the system in Cooling mode or in Heating
mode, according to the season.
- By using a Tester, measure the voltage on each
compressor’s wiring; if wirings are energized, but
compressor does not start, compressor is faulty
and it is necessary to replace it.
- Measure the resistance on the compressor’s
terminals. Normally, the detected values must be
the following:
Between U(R) and V(S): 1
Ω
.
Between U(R) and W(C): 1
Ω
.
Between V(S) and W(C): 1
