SNMP Traps Sub-Menu
To access the
Traps
configuration parameters in the Web Manager:

Select
Unit > SNMP Traps > [trap entry name]
.

Name
The
Name
parameter defines the trap-host station name. The trap-host’s name represents the
trap access through the Traps Destinations list. Therefore, it is recommended to select a name
that represents the station as accurately as it can (for example,
Room 6D
or
Paul’s Computer
).
The available value is a string of up to 255 characters and digits.
Front Panel
To set the
Name
parameter on the front panel:

Root > Configuration > Unit > SNMP Traps > Traps Destination List > [Trap Name]
> Name

Web Manager
To set the
Name
parameter in the Web Manager:
