12.3.3 Emptying the sample hose

1-/2-channel device

1. Disconnect sample inlet hose SPx from the sample channel switching: Remove the

connector nozzle of hose SPx from the outlet of the sample channel switching in the

analyzer.

2. Fill the maintenance dispenser with air.
3. Slide the C-Flex hose of the maintenance dispenser onto the connector nozzle of hose

SPx.

4. Drive air through the sample channel.

 Any liquid remaining in the sample channel is driven into the cuvette.

5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 until the sample channel is empty.
6. Slide the connector nozzle of hose SPx back into the outlet at the sample channel

switching in the analyzer.

4-/6-channel device

1. Disconnect sample inlet hose SPx from the sample inlet in the analyzer: remove hose

SPx from the T-section downstream from sample channel switching.

2. Fill the maintenance dispenser with air.
3. Slide the C-Flex hose of the maintenance dispenser onto the end of hose SPx.
4. Drive air through the sample channel.

 Any liquid remaining in the sample channel is driven into the cuvette.

5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 until the sample channel is empty.

12.3.4 Emptying the cuvette

1. Remove the cover in front of the cuvette.
2. Insert the maintenance dispenser together with the hose piece provided through the

hole in the capillary holder of the cuvette.

3. Empty the cuvette completely.
4. Remove the magnetic stir bar and store it separately.
