Replacing the pump hose

The replacement of the pump hose is not part of routine maintenance activities. Only

replace the pump hose when this is necessary.

1. Open the analyzer.
2. Stop the sample supply.
3. Rinse the reagent and standard channels.→  140

 There should not be any more liquid left in the hoses.

4. Remove the bottles and the bottle tray.
5. Press the soft key

Wait until all operations have stopped. Ongoing operations can be stopped under

6. Open the bayonet lock of the peristaltic pump.
7. Replace the hose and, if necessary, replace the pump head.
8. Close the bayonet lock of the peristaltic pump.
9. Make sure all the hoses and connectors are seated correctly.

10. Place the bottle tray back into the housing.

12.2.7 Replacing the filter mats

You require the following parts:

Filter mats (part of the CAV maintenance kit)

Fan screen on the bottom

1. Open both fan screens and remove them.

 The filter mats are located under the screens.

2. Remove the used filter mats and replace them with new ones from the maintenance

kit.

3. Fit the fan screens back on.
4. Reset the operating hours counter for the mats:
