Starting the measurement

Pay attention to the following, particularly if measuring very low concentrations of

silica:

• The measurement results can display an initial drift. This can be caused by the possible

contamination of the components carrying sample.

• For this reason it is advisable to rinse the sample-bearing pipes for several hours with

continuous measurements prior to performing a calibration.

• The stability of the calibration factors can be checked by repeating the calibration

manually.
