4.9.4

Measurement consultation

•

The «

Measure

» button resumes the measurement and keep the already recorder information in displayed on the

curves.

•

The “

Tonale / Vocale

” switch between the pure-tone curve and the speech audiometry curve (available only if

measurements had been made in these modes)

Pure-tone audiometry

•

The ordinate scale represents the hearing loss in dB HL.

•

The abscissa scale represents the frequencies in Hz.

•

The background of the curve represents the audiometric normal for this patient according to his birthdate
and gender.

The green area indicates a “more” than normal hearing level.

The yellow area indicates a normal hearing level

The red area indicates a hearing loss compared to the audiometric normal.

Speech audiometry

•

The abscissa scale represents the power of the stimuli in dB HL.

•

The ordinate scale represents the percentage of correctly repeated words.

•

The last image on the right shows the information obtained by clinking on the graph area

Criteria used for the normal audiometric curve
