4.7 DP-gram

Point spectral analysis

To run spectral analysis of the signal by a Fast Fourier
Transform (FFT) click on the "

Freq

" button.

The power distribution graph (abscissa) with respect to
the frequency (ordinate) appears. The effective spectral
energy zone is indicated by a vertical white line.
In the opposite example, 3 other spectral rays can be
identified with high power levels to the right of the ef-
fective spectral energy zone. From left to right, stimula-
tion frequency F1, followed by F2 and finally secondary
distortion product (2 *

Point time analysis

To start the time analysis of the signal, click on the
“

Temp

” button. The cursor enables you to adjust the

maximum time value of the display window.
For this type of measurement, the general form of the
time signal can easily be identified. It represents the
modulation of stimulation frequencies F1 and F2.
