General information about software ECHOSOFT

5.2 Installation

Then you can choose the location where the application files will be installed.
By default, it is "

C:/Program Files/Echodia/EchoSoft

"

Click on “Install” and then “close” to complete the installation.
Once the software is launched, the following window appears:

has a generic USB driver mass storage, it is rec-

ognized and installed automatically.
This driver will enable the transfer of the data collected
in ambulatory mode in the l’

ECH

O

SOFT

's data base.

You can also use your

ELI

O

S

device directly from your

computer (PC or Mac). You will need to install a USB
driver to have this functionality. Since the version
2.1.6.0 the USB driver installation is automatically trig-
ger during the

ECH

O

SOFT

installation process but, for

some reasons, you could have to do a manual installa-
tion, for this purpose, in the main window of the soft-
ware, click on “Devices”, then on “Data”. The main
window will change, you need to click on “install USB
driver” at the bottom right.

The software automatically launch the driver installation.
Once the installation is over, it is necessary to unplug and then plug back on the device to finalize the process.

To optimize the life length of the battery, the screen will turn off after two minutes when the USB mode is acti-
vated and that the device is plugged to a computer. To turn it back on, click on the “On/Off” button or touch the
screen.
