«Tube» :
tick the box if you use the acoustic stimulator with tube.
Select « Right » or «left» to start the measurement.
4.2.2.2 Measurement
When launching the measure, if the electrodes are not
well placed or not well connected, an impedance verifi-
cation window is shown.
The impedance values have to be the smaller and the
most balanced as possible to provide the most reliable
and qualitative measurement.
The state of the options
“3 points wiring”
and “Tube” are saved for the next measures, however, the power
setting is always set back to 40 dB to be replaced in screening conditions.
If value V- is greater than 10kΩ, wipe the patient’s forehead again and reattach new electrodes.
If value V+ is greater than
10kΩ, check that the mastoid (or the neck, depending on the chosen wiring) elec-
trode is properly placed. If necessary, wipe the patient’s mastoid again and reattach new electrodes.
