Markers
The positioning of the markers is an essential part of the analysis of the results. These markers help the operator to
analyze the amplitude and latency of specific points on the curve.
-
Add a marker
: right-click on the graph display area, the contextual menu is displayed allowing you to select
the marker to be placed. The "normality" zone of the selected marker is indicated in gray on the graph. Click on
the curve(s) at the exact point where you want to insert the marker.
-
Move a marker:
a left click and hold on a marker lets you move it.
-
Delete a marker:
a right click on a marker delete it.
-
Automatic plot:
the button
« plot markers »
will try put the markers if it detects spikes in the normality zone.
The values of the markers are shown in the tables at the bottom of the window. Each test has different tables and
calculations on the relationships between the markers.
6.1.13.1
« Latencies » window (for ABR and ECochG)
The latency window provides a synthetic view of waves I, III and V placed on several curves at the same time. This
view shows the latencies and the powers in comparison with the normality curves of waves I, III and V.
1.
Graph area:
•
On x-axis: power in dB HL.
•
On y-axis: time in millisecond.
•
Red point: wave on right ear.
•
Blue point: wave on left ear.
•
Grey area: "normality" aera for waves V, III and I.
2.
Select the ear to display.
3.
Mouse position on the graph.
When using the automatic plot of the markers, it is the operator's responsibility to check the positioning
and correct it if necessary.
