Handheld mode measurement

4.9 Audiometry

To build the curve you have to specify the patient answer with the “

Yes

” “

No

” buttons for each stimulation (activated

thanks to the “stim” button).

You can see the curve at any time by pressing the “

Graph

” button. Then you can

save

the curve by clicking on“

Save

”,

delete

it by exiting the window or

continue

the measure by clicking on one of the boxes in the summary table.

4.9.1.4

Weber test

The Weber test can detect if the patient presents a strong hearing lateralization. This allows to set at best the contra-

lateral masking noise power.

Patient setup

The Weber test is realized with the bone stimulator placed in the middle of the patient forehead.

Measurement

The bellow windows give access to the stimulation configuration.

The aim is to know for each frequency what is the threshold at which the patient hears on only one side.
For each stimulation, indicate if the patient hears the sound at the left, right or on both sides.
You can see the curve at any time by pressing the “

Graph

” button. Then you can

save

the curve by clicking on

“

Save

”,

delete

it by exiting the window or

continue

the measure with the “

Measure

” button.

4.9.2

High frequency audiometry

To make high frequency audiometry, it is mandatory to have a high frequency audiometric headset and have a license

for the high frequency module. The headset must be selection in the menu « headset » under the configuration window
