The default setting is

User Guidelines

Auto:

All possibilities to connect a PC with cross or normal cables are supported and are automatically

detected.

: It is possible to connect to a PC only with a normal cable and to connect to another device only

with a cross cable.

: It is possible to connect to a PC only with a cross cable and to connect to another device only with

a normal cable.

The following example enables automatic crossover on port 1/e5.

Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode command enables back pressure on a given

interface. Use the

form of this command to disable back pressure.
