After the detergent solution is finished, always empty
the recovery tank before filling it again.
In general, the recovery tank can be emptied whenever
required, and even during intermediate phases of the
work cycle.
Always empty the recovery tank before lifting it to
avoid health problems for operators and to avoid
damaging the machine.
The recovery tank volume is higher than the detergent
solution volume, therefore a potentially dangerous
situation for the suction motor should never occur. In
any case, a safety float turns of f the suction motor if
the dirty liquid level is too high.
If water or foam starts leaking from under the tanks
for any reason, immediately turn off the suction motor
and empty the recovery tank.
To drain the tank:
Drive the machine to a suit able location to drain the
dirty water and preferably near a toilet or a sewer drain
(comply with the national regulations for waste water
disposal).
Turn off the machine and remove the key from the
panel.
Detach the drain hose from the hook and, keeping it
high, unscrew the plug.
Lower the drain hose toward the selected drainage
point.
The emptying operation can be interrupted quickly and
whenever required just by raising the drain hose.
Check the quantity of residual dirt in the t ank and, if
necessary, clean the interior through the inspection
hole, lifting the cover and the funnel at the top.
Carefully position the funnel inside the inspection hole
and close the top cover, tightening the lock handles
after each inspection/cleaning operation.
Fully tighten the drain hose with the screw plug and
hang it on the support behind the machine.
The top cover of the tank and the drain hose plug
must be airtight, otherwise the subsequent pressure
loss will reduce drying efficiency.
7.6 SEAT ADJUSTMENT
Before adjusting the seat, make sure that the machine
is turned off and that the key has been removed from
the dashboard.
If necessary, the position of the driver ’s seat can be
changed.
To change the seat adjustment, release the locking
lever and move the seat to the required position.
Make sure that the locking lever is securely fixed at the
end of the adjustment.
Check that the seat is in a st able position and firmly
secured.
7.7 DRIVING THE MACHINE
Select the running direction using the Forward/Reverse
lever.
Insert and turn the ignition key.
Release the parking brake.
Using the right foot lightly press the accelerator pedal
and drive the machine to its destination.
After reaching the destination, release the accelerator
and engage the parking brake, braking with the lef t
pedal and activating the pedal locking lever.
Turn off the machine and remove the keys from the
control panel.
The running direction can be changed using the
forward/reverse lever, even while pressing on the
accelerator pedal.
7.8 WORK METHOD
7.8.1 PREPARATION AND WARNINGS
Remove any loose solid residue from the surface to be
treated (using suitable tools, such as vacuum cleaners,
sweepers, etc.). It this is not done, the solid dirt might
prevent the squeegee from operating correctly, reducing
drying efficiency.
This machine can driven only by trained personnel.
7.8.2 OPERATING CONTROLS
• Ignition key, to turn the machine on and off.
• Direction lever , to select forward or reverse
movements.
• Speed regulator, to select the maximum advancement
speed when the pedal is fully depressed.
• Brush switch, to turn on the brush rotation motor.
• Brush position switch, to lower (work position) or
raise (rest/movement position) the brush unit on/from
the floor.
• Suction switch, to turn on the suction motor.
• Squeegee position switch, to lower (work position)
or raise (rest/movement position) the squeegee.
• Emergency switch, to cut off/restart all programmed
work operations.
• Right advancement pedal, to start moving the machine.
• Left brake pedal, to quickly stop machine movement.
• Solution flow adjustment lever, to regulate the quantity
(maximum toward the top, minimum toward the bottom)
of detergent solution to be applied on the floor.
• Battery charge control, the sequence of light s
progressively turns off until the battery is discharged.
When the red light turns on, turn off the brush motor,
close the solution supply, finish drying the small residual
moisture and go to the battery charging area to charge
the battery. If these operations are not carried out, the
machine will automatically deactivate the brush motor
and it will only be possible to move the machine. In this
situation if the machine is not stopped right away , all
functions will be cut off automatically, and the machine
will have to be moved by hand.
• The batteries may be irreparably damaged if the
residual charge level drops too low (see the battery
operating manual). Do not force the battery discharge
beyond the safety limits, turning the key off and on or
in any other manner.
• When an abnormal situation occurs, such as when
the machine doesn’t have enough power and the safety
devices don’t trip, stop immediately: follow the
instructions in the troubleshooting section and contact
a specialised worker to check the discharge control
devices.
7.8.3 DIRECT SCRUBBING OR FOR SLIGHTLY DIRTY
SURFACES

Prepare the machine as previously described.
Select the forward direction using the direction lever.

8.2 TUBO DE ASPIRACIÓN
Destornille los pomos del bolsillo trasero port a-luz
destellante.
Desacople el tubo de aspiración del squeegee
Desacople el bolsillo y acceda al interior para extraer
completamente el tubo de aspiración.
Ahora ya se puede lavar y liberar el tubo de las posibles
obstrucciones.
Introduzca firmemente el tubo de aspiración en el
interior del bolsillo trasero, en la específica cavidad del
depósito.
Cierre el bolsillo con los pomos.
Introduzca firmemente el tubo en el cuerpo del
squeegee.
8.3 SQUEEGEE
No maneje el squeegee a manos descubiert as,
póngase guantes y todas las prendas de seguridad
adecuadas para la operación.
Desacople el squeegee de la máquina y límpielo
colocando debajo de un chorro de agua corriente con
una esponja o un cepillo.
Controle y limpie el vano de recogida de la suciedad
sólida, controlando también los pasos de los dos tubos
de aspiración (entrada y salida). Los tubos tienen dos
diámetros diferentes para transferir la mayor depresión
posible al nivel del terreno (tubo de diámetro pequeño
desde el depósito de recogida hast a el vano de
inspección) y evitar que la suciedad más gruesa que
lamentablemente esté presente en el pavimento obture
rápidamente todo el tubo de aspiración (tubo de diámetro
grande desde el squeegee hasta el vano de inspección).
Asegúrese de que la tapa del vano esté perfectamente
cerrada después de la limpieza, un acoplamiento
imperfecto de la tapa puede perjudicar el secado de la
máquina.
Compruebe la eficacia y el desgaste de las bandas en
contacto con el pavimento. Las mismas tienen la función
de rascar la película de detergente y agua sobre el
pavimento y aislar la porción de superficie para obtener
la máxima depresión del motor de aspiración: de este
modo el secado de la máquina es perfecto. Trabajando
continuamente de este modo, el canto vivo de la banda
tiende a redondearse o deteriorarse, perjudicando el
perfecto secado, para esto hay que sustituir las bandas
del squeegee.
Para cambiar las bandas desgast adas, siga las
instrucciones del correspondiente párrafo, gire las
bandas para desgastar los otros cantos vivos o monte
otras nuevas.
8.4 ACCESORIOS
Quite y limpie los cepillos o los discos arrastradores.
Compruebe atentamente que no estén encastrados
cuerpos extraños como, por ejemplo, partes metálicas,
tornillos, virutas, cuerdas o similares, para evitar dañar
el suelo y la máquina.
Compruebe la planitud de trabajo de los cepillos
(compruebe si se ha verificado un desgaste irregular
de los cepillos o de los discos abrasivos). Si fuera
necesario regule la inclinación de los cepillos sobre el
suelo.
Utilice exclusivamente los accesorios indicados por el
fabricante, otros productos pueden perjudicar la
seguridad.
8.5 FILTRO DE LA SOLUCIÓN LIMPIADORA
Asegúrese de que el depósito de la solución esté vacío.
Compruebe y limpie el filtro para la solución limpiadora,
situado en la parte inferior trasera de la máquina. Si
fuera necesario lave con agua corriente y verifique que
la solución limpiadora salga por los cepillos.
Sujete fuertemente el filtro para evitar pérdidas durante
el funcionamiento.
8.6 CUERPO DE LA MÁQUINA
Para limpiar el cuerpo externo de la máquina, utilice
una esponja o un trapo, si fuera necesario utilice un
cepillo blando para eliminar la suciedad más adherida.
La superficie antigolpes de la máquina es rugosa para
que las rayas ocasionadas durante el uso no queden
muy evidenciadas, pero est a solución no facilit a la
limpieza de manchas persistentes sobre la superficie.
También pueden utilizarse máquinas de limpieza a
vapor, pero está prohibido utilizar tubos con agua
corriente o hidrolimpiadoras.
8.7 BATERÍAS
8.7.1 PB-ÁCIDO
Realice las operaciones de mantenimiento de acuerdo
con las instrucciones del fabricante y con todas las
indicaciones proporcionadas en el presente manual.
Dejar descubiertas (no completamente sumergidas en
la solución ácida) las placas de los elementos ocasiona
una rápida oxidación y perjudica irremediablemente la
funcionalidad del elemento.
El desbordamiento de la solución ácida puede corroer
la máquina.
Utilice cargadores de baterías aconsejados por el
fabricante y, en cualquier caso, que sean adecuados
al tipo de batería que se ha de cargar.
Recargue las baterías siempre en locales bien
ventilados: ¡existe el riesgo de explosión!
El uso de baterías al Gel o sin mantenimiento está
fuertemente aconsejado.
8.7.2 GEL
Realice las operaciones de mantenimiento de acuerdo
con las instrucciones del fabricante y con todas las
indicaciones que se proporcionan en este manual.
Utilice exclusivamente los cargadores de baterías
aconsejados por el fabricante.
8.8 FUSIBLES Y DISYUNTORES TÉRMICOS
La máquina está dotada de protecciones eléctricas de
los principales órganos de funcionamiento para evitar
costosas averías. En el tablero eléctrico principal (en
la parte frontal de la máquina) están presentes dos
