of the plug and the level of the liquid.
To avoid risks, become familiar with the machine
movements, carrying out test runs on a large surface
without obstacles.
To obtain the best result s in terms of cleaning and
equipment service life, you should do the following
simple but important operations:
- Identify the work area, moving all possible obstacles
out of the way; if the surface is very extensive, work in
contiguous and parallel rectangular areas.
- Choose a straight work trajectory and begin working
from the farthest area to avoid passing over areas that
have already been cleaned.
7 OPERATING INFORMATION
7.1 BATTERY CHARGING
Prepare and check the battery charge according to the
instructions provided in the specific section.
Detach the battery connector (the one with the handle)
from the machine power connector and connect it to
the battery charger connector.
Do not connect the battery charger to the scrubber-
drier’s main wiring connector.
Hold the connectors with the hands; do not pull them
using the cables.
If the machine is equipped with
Pb-Acid batteries
,
charge only in a well-ventilated area, lif t the top tank
and open the battery plugs.
Follow the steps indicated in the battery manufacturer’s
operating and safety manual (see the battery
maintenance section).
If the machine is equipped with
gel batteries
(maintenance free), follow the instructions indicated
here below.
If the machine is used regularly:
Always keep the batteries connected to the battery
charger when the machine is not being used.
If the machine is not used for extended time periods:
Charge the battery during the night after the last work
period, then disconnect the battery from the battery
charger.
Charge the battery during the night before using the
machine again.
Intermediate or incomplete charging while working
should be avoided.
If the machine is equipped with Pb-Acid batteries, use
a hydrometer to check the element liquid intensity on
a regular basis: if one or more elements are discharged
and the others fully charged, the battery has been
damaged and should be replaced or repaired (refer to
the battery service manual).
Close the element plugs and lower the top tank.
Hold the connectors with the hands; don’t pull them
using the cables.
Reconnect the battery connector to the connector on
the machine.
7.2 SQUEEGEE AND SPLASH GUARD ASSEMBLY,
DISASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT
The squeegee is the main component that ensures
perfect drying.
7.2.1 SQUEEGEE ASSEMBLY
Lower the lifting system to avoid having to keep the
body raised while completing connections.
Loosen the connection screws on the squeegee body.
Insert the body and the connection screws on the
crescent-shaped brackets of the oscillating support.
Fully tighten the squeegee screws to the oscillating
support.
Connect the adjustment screw pin to the squeegee
body.
Firmly insert the machine suction hose into the hole in
the body.
7.2.2 SQUEEGEE DISASSEMBLY
Lower the lifting system to avoid having to keep the
body raised while completing connections.
Disconnect the suction hose from the squeegee body.
Loosen the connections crews on the squeegee body.
Pull back the squeegee body to det ach it from the
crescent-shaped brackets of the oscillating support.
7.2.3 SQUEEGEE STRAP ASSEMBLY
Position the metallic strips on the front strap and insert
the connection screws into the holes.
Bring the front strap and met allic strips with screws
closer to the squeegee body first from one side and
then from the other and centre the guide holes.
At this point add the rear strap, centering the holes
again on the projecting screws.
Tighten with bolts and connection screws starting from
one end up to the opposite side.
It’s normal that the rear strap has to be extended to
centre the connection screws. This will bring it under
the correct tension to avoid folds on the floor and dry
correctly.
7.2.4 SQUEEGEE STRAP DISASSEMBLY
Loosen and remove the retaining screws and bolts on
the squeegee body. Release the straps from the retaining
strips.
7.2.5 SQUEEGEE ADJUSTMENT
The screw pin in the centre of the body is used to adjust
the squeegee’s slant with respect to the plane, according
to the machine’s longitudinal axis. The two handles on
the sides, connected to the rear wheels of the squeegee,
are used to adjust the slant with respect to the plane,
according to the axis perpendicular to the machine’ s
operating direction.
To obtain a perfect adjustment, the rear strap, sliding
as it moves, bends in all points, forming an angle of 45°
with the floor.
As the machine operates (advances), the knobs can
be used to adjust the slant of the strap s: the slant
decreases as the knob is screwed in and increases as
it is unscrewed.
Squeegee drying must be uniform along the entire drying
line: moist sections on the sides indicate an excessive
extension of the central screw pin (tighten it to improve
the adjustment), while moist sections in the centre
indicate excessive contraction of the central screw pin
(unscrew it to improve the adjustment).
7.2.6 CLEANING THE SOLID DIR T RECOVERY
COMPARTMENT
Unscrew the connection knobs of the comp artment
cover mounted above the body of the squeegee.
Extract the filter and remove all the solid dirt.
Use a water spray to rinse the container.
9.1 LA MÁQUINA NO FUNCIONA
La llave de contacto no está introducida o no se ha
girado correctamente.
Introduzca la llave en posición “1”.
El conector de la batería está desacoplado o mal
conectado al cableado principal.
Conecte fuertemente los dos conectores.
El pulsador de emergencia/interrupción del trabajo
está presionado.
Libere el pulsador de emergencia/interrupción del
trabajo.
La máquina se está recargando.
Terminar la recarga.
Las baterías están agot adas (secuencia de 3
intermitencias del LED rojo).
Recargar las baterías.
No hay ningún operario sentado en el asiento del
conductor.
Sentarse en el asiento del conductor.
El fusible principal está fundido.
Cambiarlo.
La tarjeta de control se ha sobrecalentado (secuencia
de 7 intermitencias del led rojo)
Comprobar las situaciones de uso que pueden haber
causado la avería (pendencia muy pronunciada, etc.)
esperar 30 minutos y evitar dichas situaciones de uso
incorrectas. Si el problema persiste llamar al servicio
de asistencia autorizado.
9.2 LA MÁQUINA NO AVANZA
La palanca de selección de la dirección está en
posición neutra
Seleccionar una dirección de marcha
El pedal de avance no está presionado
Pisar el pedal
La inclinación del suelo es demasiado elevada
Empujar manualmente la máquina al nuevo nivel.
El freno de estacionamiento está acoplado
Liberar la palanca del freno de estacionamiento.
Ha intervenido la protección térmica (general) del
motor/ de los motores de tracción
Parar la máquina, dejarla reposar durante 5 minutos,
cambiar los fusibles.
El microinterruptor del pedal de avance está averiado.
Cambiar el microinterruptor.
Las baterías están agotadas.
Recargar las baterías.
El pedal de aceleración estaba presionado cuando
se ha encendido la máquina (secuencia de 5
intermitencias del led rojo).
Soltar el pedal de aceleración, ap agar y volver a
encender la máquina.
El potenciómetro del pedal de aceleración está
interrumpido (secuencia de 6 intermitencias del led
rojo).
Sustituir el potenciómetro.
El/los motor/es de tracción no est aba/n parado/s
cuando se ha encendido la máquina (secuencia de 1
ó 2 intermitencias del led rojo).
Colocar la máquina en una superficie plana, apagar
y volver a encender con la llave.
9.3 LOS CEPILLOS NO GIRAN
No se ha seleccionado el interruptor del motor de
los cepillos.
Presionar el pulsador para activar los cepillos.
La máquina no está avanzando y ha intervenido el
control para evitar dañar el suelo.
Pisar el pedal de avance.
Ha intervenido la protección térmica del motor de
los cepillos, el motor se ha sobrecalentado.
Comprobar el motivo (cuerdas o similares que
impiden el movimiento, superficies excesivamente
desconexas, etc.) y presionar el disyuntor de
restablecimiento (el primero empezando por arriba).
La correa de transmisión está rota.
Cambiar la correa.
El relé del motor o el motor de los cepillos está
averiado
Cambiar el relé o el motor.
9.4 LA SOLUCIÓN LIMPIADORA NO BAJA O BAJA
EN POCA CANTIDAD
El depósito de la solución está vacío.
Llenar el depósito de la solución, después de haber
vaciado el depósito de recuperación.
Los cepillos o la máquina están parados.
Activar los cepillos y pisar el acelerador.
La palanca de regulación del flujo está cerrada o
casi cerrada.
Regular / aumentar el flujo de salida de la solución
según se desee.
El filtro de la solución limpiadora está obstruido.
Limpiar el filtro.
El conducto de suministro del detergente está
obstruido en algún punto
Liberar el conducto eliminando la suciedad.
La electroválvula de apertura del flujo está fundida.
Sustituir la electroválvula.
9.5 FALTA ASPIRACIÓN
El tubo de aspiración no está conectado al squeegee.
Conectarlo correctamente
El tubo de aspiración, el conducto del squeegee o
el vano de inspección están obstruidos.
Liberar y limpiar los conductos.
El motor de aspiración está apagado.
Activarlo.
El depósito de recuperación está lleno.
Vaciarlo.
El motor de aspiración no recibe la aliment ación
eléctrica o está quemado.
Comprobar las conexiones y, en el segundo caso,
hay que cambiar el motor.
9.6 POCA ASPIRACIÓN
La tapa del depósito de recuperación no está bien
cerrada.
Cerrar fuertemente la tapa.
El t apón del tubo de vaciado del depósito de
recuperación no está perfectamente cerrado.
Cerrarlo correctamente.
El tubo de aspiración, el conducto del squeegee o
el vano de inspección están obstruidos.
Liberar y limpiar los conductos.
