Printing Paper for I-Fax and Fax Receiving
Incoming documents are printed on paper of the same size from a paper drawer. If paper of the
same size is not available, the next available size is selected, using the order shown below. If no
paper is available in any of the size selections, the document is stored in the memory, which can be
printed as soon as paper is supplied.

When one paper size runs out during printing, an alternative paper size is selected in the same
order described above.
IMPORTANT
• Incoming documents can be printed on the following paper sizes: 11"x17"/LGL/LTR
NOTE
• You can specify whether each paper drawer is available for printing incoming I-faxes. The initial setting is
On (for I-fax printing) for all drawers except the stack bypass.
• If the incoming document size is larger than the available paper sizes, you can specify reduction by 75%,
90%, 95%, or 97%. (See “Printing Received Images in Reduced Sizes,” in the Reference Guide.)
• You can change the method of selecting paper for printing incoming documents. (See “Selecting a Print-
ing Method for Received Documents,” in the Reference Guide.)
• Incoming documents can be printed on both sides of the paper (only when the optional duplex unit is
installed). (See “Two-sided Printing of Received Documents,” in the Reference Guide.)
• Incoming documents are output face down, in the order received.
