Interrupting a Copy Job to Make Priority Copies
(Interrupt)
The interrupt mode enables you to stop the current copy job long enough to make other priority cop-
ies. This mode is useful when making a rush copy during a current continuous copy job.
NOTE
• Interrupted copy jobs cannot be processed while an original is being scanned.
• Up to 999 copies can be made in the interrupt mode.
• Remote copy jobs cannot be processed in interrupt mode.

Press the [Interrupt] key.
NOTE
• If a Department ID control has been set, you will
see a screen for entering a Department ID and
Password. (See “Entering the Department ID and
Password,” on p. 1-24.)
Once the machine is ready for the priority copy
job, the screen shown appears.
