Erasing Print Data

When a print job is canceled from a personal computer, or when less than one page of data is
received by the machine, print data can sometimes remain in the machine’s memory. This can pre-
vent the machine from receiving the data for the next job. In such cases, use the following procedure
to erase the print data from the memory.

NOTE

• Print data can only be erased for jobs sent from a personal computer.

Press the [Pause] key.

NOTE

• When you press the [Pause] key, the key 

changes to a [Restart] key. To restart the print 
job, press this [Restart] key.
