Slightly Reducing Images to Prevent Original Periphery from
Being Cut Off (Entire Image)
You can automatically reduce the copied image slightly, to prevent any part of the image being cut
off, even when the image fills the entire original.
NOTE
• Entire Image copying cannot be selected at the same time as the Different Size Originals, Image Combi-
nation, Image Separation, Binding Margin, or Frame Erase features.

Press the [Auto] key, then press the [Done]
key.

Proceed to make copies in the usual way.
NOTE
• To return the copy ratio to 100%, press the [Direct] key.
• You can cancel Auto and all copy settings by pressing the
key. (The machine reverts to the
standard settings.)
• If your original was placed on the platen glass, the copy ratio appears when the platen cover is low-
ered.
• If your original was placed in the feeder, the copy ratio appears when the
key is pressed.
