communication program WIN-PED® and can no longer be changed by the CNC or
PLC during operation.
High and Advanced
This operating mode can be used for testing the hydraulic axis. R parameter 499
“control loop value” is provided to determine an optional positive or negative
actuating value for the valve that allows the axis to be moved in both directions
under open loop control. This allows you to check whether the cylinder can be
operated properly under open loop control in both directions.
When this operating mode is exited, R499 must be set again to -1.000 V in order
that referencing works properly upon the next call-up.
Standard
By setting the IN3 (+24 V) you can traverse the punching axis under open loop
control to the lower positive stop. By clearing IN3 (0 V) you can move the punching
axis to the upper positive stop. Check the actual position values in the upper and
the lower positive stop. The upper positive stop must be at 40.000 mm, the lower at
-0.200 mm.
In this operating mode punching strokes can be performed that are synchronized
with the metal sheet movement. The sequence is as follows: The starting point is the
rest position above the plate POP. Each punching stroke is triggered by a rising edge
at digital input “IN 2 stroke start“. The punching axis then moves at velocity NRG set
in R421 to position PUP. When the position window for position PUP is reached, the
position command value is automatically set to POP, the punching axis reverses its
direction and returns to POP at velocity PRG set in R420. When the position window
for position POP is reached, the digital output ”OUT 2 position POP reached“ is set
to high. This completes the stroke so that the next stroke can be initiated.

The positions POP (R423) and PUP (R425) are variable R parameters and can be
set from the PLC over Profibus. For more details, please see Chapter 9.3.5. “Data
transmission“ on page 105.
