3 General notes on damage to material and
the product
The warranty is valid exclusively for the configuration delivered.
Warranty claims will be rejected in the case of improper installation, commissioning
and operation as well as in the case of use not in accordance with the intended
purpose and/or improper handling.
NOTICE
Welding and painting work!
Risk of damage! Electrostatic charging can destroy the electronics.

Prevent electrostatic charging of electronic components.
Painting work!
Risk of damage! Contact surfaces can be damaged. Risk of overheating due to insufficient
heat dissipation and impairment of function of measuring systems.

Never paint-coat measuring systems, cooling and contact surfaces.
Impermissible mechanical loading!
Risk of damage! Hitting or impulsive forces on the cylinder or the accumulators can
damage or even destroy the SYEPS punching system.
▶
Do not hit attached parts of the punching axis.
▶
Do not set/place the SYEPS punching system on its attached parts.
▶
Never use the SYEPS punching system as handle or step. Do not place/lay any
objects on it.
Foreign particles and contaminants in the punching system!
Risk of damage, wear and malfunction due to the ingress of contaminants and
foreign bodies. Contaminants and metal particles can damage the running faces of
the piston rod and cause leakage.

When installing the punching system, observe strictest cleanliness to prevent
foreign bodies such as welding beads or metal cuttings from entering hydraulic
lines.
▶
Before commissioning, make sure that all hydraulic connections are tight and
that all seals and closing elements of plug-in connections are correctly installed
and not damaged.
▶
Keep the piston rod free from metal particles.
▶
Take care that no detergents enter the hydraulic system.
▶
Do not use cotton waste or linty cloths for cleaning.
▶
Never use hemp as sealant.
Wear!
Wear can cause malfunction.
▶
Carry out the prescribed maintenance work at the time intervals specified in the
operating instructions.
Hydraulic fluid is detrimental to the environment!
Hydraulic fluid leakage leads to environmental pollution.
▶
Remove any leakage immediately.
▶
Dispose of the hydraulic fluid according to the national regulations in your country.
