After longer transportation or extended storage periods, inspect the reservoir
for the presence of water and, if present, remove the water.

Note: The cleanliness class required for operation of the machine is not achieved
with fresh oils in their original container. To ensure the correct cleanliness class,
fill the hydraulic power unit using a special filtering unit or a filter station with
fine filter havin

a filtration rating ≤3 μ.

To achieve the required cleanliness class, flush the hydraulic system as
described in Chapter 8.1.12 “Flushing the hydraulic system“ on page 71.

10.2.7 Open-loop-controlled operation of the punching axis with test box VT-VET
in conjunction with variant “High“
The variant “High” can be open-loop-controlled with the help of test box VT-VET. A
detailed description of the test box is included in data sheet 29685.

Before connecting the valve, make the following settings on the test device for
testing the SYEPS punching system:

Turn the switch “setpoint selector“ [

] to “intern“

Turn the switch “power selector“ [

By turning the potentiometer “setpoint“ (

) you can extend and retract the
cylinder.
