6 Transport and storage

6.1 Transporting the SYEHL punching axis

CAUTION

Insufficient stability of the SYEHL punching axis!

Risk of injury and crushing by SYEHL punching axis tipping over.

▶

Only transport and store the product in a suitable packaging.

▶

Lift the product only at the lifting eyes provided for this purpose.

Frostbite by touching the punching axis at low temperatures!

The control block may be stored at temperatures below 0 °C.

▶

Wear protective gloves at low temperatures to prevent frostbite.

NOTICE

Strong magnetic fields!

Destruction of the position measuring system.

▶

Do not lift the SYEPS punching system by means of a magnet!

Transport the SYEPS punching system by means of a fork lift truck or suitable
lifting gear observing the safety instructions.

▶

Make sure that the load-carrying capacity of your fork lift truck or lifting gear is
sufficient.

6.1.2 Transporting with lifting gear

Please observe the following points for transporting:

•

Properties of the load (e. g.: Weight, center of gravity, mounting and suspension
points).

•

Way of suspending or attaching the load.

•

Make sure that the load carrying capacity of the lifting gear is sufficient for
transporting the SYEPS punching system without any risks.

•

Use textile slings according to DIN EN 1492-2.
