Profibus must be configured as described in Chapter 9.3.5 “Data transmission“ on
page 105.
The bus status LED on the front panel of the HNC100 must solidly light green.
Check with the help of the status indicator of the Profibus master whether the slave
(HNC100) runs properly.
In the case of an error, solve the problem with the help of the information provided
by the status indicator.
See to it that the order of data words is correct. On the PLC, the input words (PLC
← HNC100) must be transmitted first, then the output words (PLC → HNC100).
For checking the data transmission from the HNC100 to the PLC, the program part
“Diagnosis” in WIN-PED® must be open, the communication switched to “online“ and
the diagnosis window open.
