WARNING
Hazardous movement caused by high pressure!
Risk of injury due to sudden movement of the piston rod as a result of non-
unloaded accumulators and potential energy stored in elastic parts, fluids or gases.

Properly connect valves, which disconnect and discharge accumulators.
▶
Before carrying out any maintenance work, de-energize all valves and check that
the accumulator is unloaded.
High electrical voltage!
Danger to life and risk of injury due to electric shock.
▶
Before installing or carrying out any work and before plugging and unplugging
connectors, disconnect the punching system from the power supply. Protect the
electrical equipment against being switched on.
▶
Before switching the system on, verify that the protective conductor of all
electrical components is firmly connected according to the wiring diagram.
Hot surfaces!
Risk of burning.
The SYEPS punching system heats up considerably during operation. Valves of the
SYEPS punching system can get so hot during operation that you may burn yourself.

Let the SYEPS punching system cool down before touching it.
▶
Protect yourself by wearing heat-resistant protective clothing, e.g. gloves.
Health-damaging hydraulic fluid!
Risk of intoxication and injury (e.g. eye injury, skin damage, intoxication upon
inhalation and swallowing).

Always check the lines for wear and damage before each commissioning.
▶
While performing these checks, wear safety gloves, safety goggles and suitable
working clothes.
▶
If hydraulic fluid should, nevertheless, come into contact with your eyes or
penetrate your skin, consult a doctor immediately.
▶
When handling hydraulic fluids, strictly observe the safety notes of the hydraulic
fluid manufacturer.
Easily inflammable hydraulic fluid!
Risk of fire.

Keep open fire and sources of ignition away from the SYEPS punching system.
▶
Ensure sufficient ventilation.
CAUTION
Lowering of the piston rod!
Risk of injury! Risk of getting caught and crushing due to slow lowering of
the piston rod under its own weight while the machine is switched off and
depressurized!

Secure the relevant area against interventions and access.
