11 Demounting and replacement
11.1 Required tools
Demounting can be performed with standard tools. No special tools are necessary.
11.2 Preparing demounting
1.
Decommission the entire system as described in the general instructions for the
machine or system.
2.
Depressurize the hydraulic system according to the instructions of the machine
or system manufacturer.
3.
Switch the master switch off and loosen the electrical cable connections.
11.3 Demounting
Demounting the HNC100 is described in the operating instructions 30139-B.
To demount the SYEHL punching axis, proceed as follows:
1.
Make sure that the hydraulic system is depressurized and disconnected from the
voltage supply.
2.
Check that the SYEPS punching system has cooled down sufficiently so that you
can demount it without any risks.
3.
Discharge the gas pressure of the accumulator.
NOTICE!
Spilled or discharged hydraulic fluid!
Environmental pollution and contamination of the groundwater!
▶
When draining the hydraulic fluid, always place a catch pan under the SYEPS
punching system.
▶
Observe the information in the safety data sheet for the hydraulic fluid and the
specifications provided by the system manufacturer.
4.
Loosen the lines and collect the escaping hydraulic fluid in the collector
provided for this purpose.
5.
Remove the SYEHL punching axis. Use suitable lifting gear for this.
6.
Drain the SYEHL punching axis completely.
7.
Plug all openings.
▶
While performing these working steps make sure that no dirt enters the openings.
11.4 Preparing the components for storage or further use
Proceed as described in Chapter 6.1.3 “Storing the SYEHL punching axis“ on page
31.
11.5 Replacing components
When replacing valves intended for subplate mounting, the screws can no longer be
secured against loosening by means of Loctite 243, because the threaded bore fills
with oil and the removal of glue residues involves a great risk of damage.
