To fill hydraulic fluid into the accumulator, switch on the hydraulic system of the
machine. This will result in a low pressure level of 80 bar and a high pressure
level of 290 bar, and all shut-off valves are closed.

Switch the hydraulic system off.

By opening the accumulator discharge valve (1.70) you can let the hydraulic fluid
slowly drain (temperature equalization).
4.
Observe the pressure gauge while draining the accumulator.
As soon as the gas precharge pressure is reached in the accumulator, the
pointer abruptly falls to zero.
If deviations are measured, first check whether:
•
pipes, valves and fittings are tight.
•
these deviations can be traced back to different ambient or gas temperatures.
Only if this check will not provide a result is an examination of the accumulator
necessary.
8.1.5 Mounting the flushing valve
To prevent premature wear of the relevant pilot valve, remove the original valve for
flushing and substitute it by a valve of the same type.

On the standard axis, no flushing valve needs to be connected.
8.1.6 Connecting the pressure gauge

On all variants, connect a pressure gauge to connection MND1 for LP
measurement. The high pressure is measured at connection MHD on the “High”
variant, and at connection MP on the “Advanced“ and “Standard Performance“
variants.
The pressure gauge must be suitable for the measurement, i.e. suitable LP
pressure range e. g. final scale value 100 bar, accuracy class <1.6 (max. deviation
±1.6 bar).
You should use the same pressure gauge to set the lower pressure value in HP in
order that the pressure value can be set with a sufficient accuracy.
For setting the upper HP value, a pressure cell with a final value of 350 bar, accuracy
class <1.6 (max. deviation ±5.6 bar) is suitable.
Important: The
pressure values must be set at operating temperature
. This
means, not in the cold condition, because otherwise the pressure values set on
the controllers of the A10 pump would drift away until they reach operating
temperature
