RE 30201-B/07.2014, SYEPS series 1X,
Bosch Rexroth AG
CAUTION
Uncontrolled system behavior!
Risk of injury! The failure of individual components can lead to malfunction of the
assembly and therefore to unforeseeable behavior!
▶
Replace or have defective components replaced immediately.
▶
Make sure that the hydraulic fluid complies with the specified cleanliness class.
Improperly installed lines and cables!
Risk of stumbling!
▶
Install cables and lines in a way that nobody can trip over them.
2.7 Personal protective equipment
Personal protective equipment for users of the product consists of:
•
Protective gloves and safety shoes for transporting the SYEPS punching system.
All components of personal protective equipment must be intact.
2.8 Safety equipment
The SYEPS punching system features a failsafe function that ensures safe operation
also in an emergency. See also Chapter 9.2.9 “Failsafe operation“ on page 15.
2.8.1 Safety function
On NC machines, various defects may occur that must, however, all result in a safe
shutdown of the machine. For this purpose, the HNC100 and the valves used offer
the following safety signals and functions.
Hardware faults are caused by:
•
defective hardware,
•
cable break of sensors
Software errors are caused by:
•
incorrect data transmission,
•
Entry of impermissible R parameter values
•
impermissible operational states of the HNC100
•
too low a system pressure
•
too low a gas pressure
If one of these faults or errors occurs, the Ready output “OUT 4” is set to zero.
Linking this signal with the emergency stop circuit of the machine allows a fast and
safe shutdown of the machine in the event of a fault.
Attention: In the case of a fault, the valve enable must be withdrawn immediately
to ensure that the axis moves as quickly as possible to the upper positive stop.
See Chapter 9.1 “Switch-on sequence” on page 81 and 9.4 “HNC100 error
messages - error handling” on page 108.
